Nice! Thats a beautiful card. Might be a tight squeeze for SLI on some boards :) They coulda done 1.3GHz on the memory though :)

If you read the thread, it says that it's from a 3.0E LGA cooler.
it looks like the coolers for the new quadro cards.

The Prescott stock fan+cooler is pretty good at his job since it was deisgned to cool down that hot stove that Intel sells under the P4 brand :p . I heard of people who succesfully adapted it for the Athlons and it's every bit as good as other pricer solutions on the market.
Anyway, recycling the fan for a videocard it's also a brillant (and cheap) idea.

Well, you can't since they're bundled with boxed CPUs. But since many people ditch them to install custom coolers you can ask in small shops (those who assemble PCs by themselves) for spares or leftovers from RMAed systems.
