View Full Version : MSI Radeon X1300 Pro 256 MB Review!
Hardware Zone has broken the NDA and released their X1300 Pro review earily! Despite only being 4 pipelines it manages to keep up with the 8 pipe 6600. Its still not a very good deal since you can find a 256mb 6600 $120.

I hope more follow their lead and leak early. Otherwise, it's going to be a long night. :)

Past rumours claimed that all X1300 cards will sport a dual DVI ports that will beaten Geforce 7800 GTX in image quality at the highest resolution, now that all just fantasy dreaming. It didnt have dual DVI and probably only capable to decode H.264 in software. The benchmarks is terrible for X1300 Pro at $149, ATI will have really very harder time to sell these cards in volume at that price point. Here are lots of very good deals in UK, a Geforce 6600 256Mb cost £59.23 ($104) and a Geforce 6600 GT 128Mb cost £79.99 ($140), the prices could come down by £20 if Nvidia will have a price cuts on the whole Geforce 6 lines tomorrow or days ahead. X1300 looked so hopeless with Nvidia price cuts on Geforce 6600 series and upcoming Geforce 7600 and 7200 cards due to launch in next few months.
Ya its not really worth it at 150 bucks, it only beats the 6600 in 3dmark... my fav game! :)
