Blond bimbos couldn't be Christians if they wanted to.
I'm not a blonde bimbo.
I'm a 32-year-old computer tech with a wife and kids.
And you need to shut your piehole right now.
I've studied church history a bit and will agree that some very awful things occurred that shouldn't have; the crusades, Galileo, and the inquisition are a few immediate thoughts that come to mind. It shows what can happen when religious beliefs gain too much power and control in a society. It starts out with the best intentions of sharing resources and looking out for the greater good of all. But inborn human tendencies for power, control, greed and selfishness corrupt things. Lines are drawn between those who are "with us" and those who "are not" and then the destructive stuff begins. Things like caring, understanding and acceptance of others gets pushed aside.
People embody religion at all levels. They are human and have strengths and weaknesses. It's a balancing act to keep things like religion and government or faith and science in check. Each requires the other to define its limits and help it grow. This is what the teachings of the Catholic church are all about with respect to faith and morals. They do not replace what is said the Bible; they provide additional guidance based upon experience, wisdom, and understanding.
Individuals today have many different resources available to them to help in a relationship with God, be caring of others and live a better life. Each is free to choose the methods that help them become the person they want to be and achieve their desired goal. An organizational church or religion is a guide. The final responsibility for ones life, and the fruits it produces, rests with the individual. Hopefully in the process, we leave the world a better place than we found it.

LOL if the guy assumes gender by a persons avatar hes gonna be in for a lot of embarrassment :)
So what are you then? You bash creation every chance you get, so your not a Christian. I guess your a Catholic, because their not Christians either.
Not thats its any of your business but i'm somewhere along the lines of an agnostic theist. I haven't decided yet. Not that I feel the need to label myself as anything. I don't subscribe to any religion. But no, I'm not a creationist.

I am not slamming Souther Baptists. I am asking if he is. The reason is that many Souther Baptists do believe Catholics are not Christians, more so than other denominations. It just helps me get a better perspective on his point of view. I am not saying only Souther Baptists think this. Many other denominations do also.
While I am not Southern Baptist, I do believe Catholics can be Christians...it is just that the Catholic Church makes it difficult for them to become so...
But maybe I missed the point of this thread. Wasn't the point of this thread that the Catholic Church has decided God is wrong?

So you are saying having a good body, but low intelligence means you can't be a Christian? You are a disgrace. I am a Christian and I think you are a jackass.

OK, Everybody beat up on me!!! Well I guess I'll say it again, Roman Catholicism is a giant melting pot of all the old pagen and heathen religions mixed together with a little bit of Jesus sprinkled on to make it look good. There not Christian and they never have been. They used to burn people at the stake just for reading the Bible. They've taken every major Bible doctrine and replaced it with some superstitious rite. They're a joke, and only spiritually ignorant people believe that Mary is a God!

One more post insulting my faith and you will be gone. Period.
Jeez is this thread still going ?
If ppl cant debate or argue without insulting ppl and/or their faith, then we may as well just close this thread. That goes for you too Jazzy Jeff.
