This is a recent thing. My video card idles at 93c and goes past 120c when playing games! Its very annoying...My room is pretty hot  . I have 2 intake fans and 2 rear fans, 1 intake fan on the side. I have a Geforce 6800GT OC running at the default OC speed from BFG. I havent done anything like changed drivers for this problem to occur out of no where!

Also wondering, would a Lian-Li Warrior help my airflow any to stop this overheat problem?

In addition to the above, might check the heatsink to see if it's clear...free of accumulation of lint, dirt, etc. If the heatsink is dirty clean the fan blades as well.

Another cause could be the loss of contact between the heatsink and gpu. That requires removal of the heatsink and re-application of thermal paste for re-installation which voids your warranty. Might get in contact with the mfg of the card before going this route and see what they have to say about the high temps.

That case is nice but don't think it will solve you immediate problem.

I checked the card, all is fine. I even used some dust cleaner on it...I used RivaTuner to put the fan speeds at 100%

Still same thing!!

You just need to call tech support or email them, and request a RMA #.

first off, how did you have such little air flow, second off, how did you get the case so fast? hahaha

Well the case was a local pickup. Got it from someone at anandtech. I dont really know about why i had so little airflow. I guess the fans were dying on me in the old case? :(

But its all good now. Im running FEAR at 80c steady. :)

nah dont bother with the dual fan design. i had that design and it cooled well, however, it cooled the same as the reference cooler.
