well originally i bought a 250 gig wd hd and a 36 gb raptor for windows to run on. No im thinking the raptor wasnt worth it (i cant tell a differance)and that i should ebay it for 80 or w/e and buy another 250 gig hd for 100, everything sata, now im just affraid that lets say one hd gets unpluged will it dammage my partitions, and also it sounds like its gonna suck putting xp or vista on a raid partiotion setup wise

have you guys done this, what do you think i should do. That sata just doesnt seem to speed up xp at all so im leaning twords new harddrive, 500gb

I've got two 36GB raptors in a striped array with 2GB of memory to back it up, and windows loads in all of about 15 seconds at the most. however I am risking a bit because if one of those drives die on me, my array is gone and so is the OS. but meh, I don't care. thats what I trade for getting that kind of speed.
