View Full Version : How do I move and resize the screen?
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to move or resize the screen for the TV output using TwinView?

You can move it by using the offset function in the README. But you cannot tweak the size.
As far as the twinview out on the tv where it is cutting off a few inches on every side of it, that is a bug with the 4191 drivers, use an earlier driver version and it will be normal. Or just deal with the cropping of your output and say 'well, whatever'
there are so called modelines, which set the position and size of your screen.
to get one use xvidtune or search the internet for xfree modeline generator.
then save these modelines to your XF86CONFIG and they will work.

The modlines don't help in a case where twinview is causing the problem. modlines are metamode + DDC to nvidia. You can set a string in xf86config to have full modlines in the metamode section, but the tv-out seems to be un-responsive to negative and positive values. The offeset seems to work fine thou.
