Application - Balanced - Agressive

The performance section of the newer detonators has a slider with the above values listed. Anyone know what they mean, and what they do?

I get better FPS with balanced and aggressive than I do on application.

However on Q3 with the 42.01 drivers, I get the dreaded ugly sky bug when it's set to aggressive.

I believe the settings determine whether the application or the card controls various timing aspects.

I guess that the aggressive setting in 42.01's doesn't work properly with any q3-based game, since i get weird rainbow colors in soldier of fortune 2.
