View Full Version : Razer Copperhead High Precision Gaming Mouse Review
Yeah, the only time I really ever had a "need" to lean was in the Thief series of games.

Does anyone know if the copperhead can change resolutions on the fly in hardware?
I'm running linux and would like to switch resolutions when gaming.
I heard that the logitech g5 can do it without the need to install software drivers?
Thanks for any response...
Yes, the Copperhead is able to change resolutions on the fly. Without drivers.
As well as the sensitivity settings.

Of course it is... Isn't that the point of its inbuilt 32kb memory, which lets you change the sample hz rate (within reason), dpi of sensor, and probably some other stuff like what keys to emulate if any
The 32KB of onboard memory stores your profiles (up to 5, each of which are comprised of a snapshot of your various settings) but I'm not certain that this is what enables one to change the sensitivity/dpi settings on the fly or not. I'd have to look into it further and not just assume.
The memory stores 5 default profiles, that you can switch through without drivers.

Im just curious how the mouse reacts when u lift it up. I tend to lift up my mouse alot during gaming when i do 180s in cs and was just curious to see if the laser mice have any problems when people do this.
I don't have any issues with it.
I know what your talking about though, as I have had mice that would continue to track even when they are lifted... no problems with the Copperhead though.
Sup guys, new to these forums.
As for the lifting up the mouse, if you don't move it up more than 1/8 inch? You shouldnt have any problems. I just got my CH yesterday. I've had my Diamondback, tried the G5 the day before yesterday, returned it, and got the CH yesterday and loving it.

I keep having a problem with the synapse configurator saying that it can't detect the mouse. Yet I was able to update the firmware just fine.
