where is it and how do i edit it from a command prompt??

after i installed the drivers from nvidia's site(for redhat 8.0) xserver won't start :confused: :mad: .

ok figured out that you type:

vi /etc/x11/xf86Config

there wasn't a -4 version in the directory. i've added, and deleted the nessecary info in the file, but how do i save and exit out of vi ???

ZZ Save file and quit
:x Save file and quit
:wq Save ("write") file and quit
:w Save file
:w! Save file (overriding protection)

Whichever you prefer :D
