Mafia!

I'm trying to install the game but when it gets to A6.dta ( on CD 2) the installation just stops!

The CD is damaged because when i try to make a copy of the cd using nero in starts giving error when it gets to that file!

I don't want to buy the game again!

anyone has any idea what i should do?

i was wondering is it possible for someone to upload that file from CD2 for me!

I want to play this game really bad... !

contact the manufacturer and request a new CD, might cost ya something like $5, but it's better than buying the game

lol This is kind of ironic. I was at gamestop about a week ago and saw mafia for... yep, $5. :)

If anyone else has the game I don't see the problem with them sending you an ISO or something like that.

Well, since usually all the copyright protection is on disc 1 or the play disc, you can probably "acquire" just CD2 and you'll be set. Just be resourceful.

If it's any consolation to you, many other people have had similar installation problems with Mafia. For example on this forum thread:

And it was a long time ago now but I remember it took me about a week of trying different things to finally get the game to work for me. In the end I think I had to rip the files onto my PC and use a crack.. yeah all that just to play the game I purchased from the shop. Only other game to cause me that much annoyance on installation was Half-Life 2..

Anyway it is a great game, if you can actually get to play it :(
