Do I sense some bitterness?
What about these awesome phones they have here in Japan?
I used to work for Verizon in the US (45% owned by Vodafone) and I can't believe how much better these Japanese phones are. My phone has a built in digital camera, full color high resolution display, speakerphone, Java, etc etc - and it only cost $120USD!!
Here's a link (and no, mine isn't the pink one!!) :D

You can thank the weak (even worse than the US) Japanese economy for that. Hell, my ex-gf just got back from Japan a couple weeks ago and you won't believe the sheer amount of cr@p she brought back. Manga and anime sets that would sell for $50 and more over here, she bought for less than $10 over there. I digress.
I have a Motorola i50sx with Nextel. Motorola was such a poorly, poorly managed company. They deserved for the Swedes to take over the market with the piss poor managing decisions that Chris Galvin and Co. made.
I have always been a big fan of Nokia...
Thus far, I have owned a 5160, 8860, 8260, bought a 3360 for fiance', and now own a 6360.
After using other people's phones from other vendors, I am glad that I'm using the Nokias.

Finland, methinks.
Correct! :D Many people thinks it's from Japan but that's not true. It's 100% finland :D
EDIT: And the greatest overclockers in the world (macci and Kamu) are from Finland too :D (just wanted to tell that ;) :D )
yeh theyre pretty good now, but remember the first crappy old nokias? ;) took em quite a while to get right!

Heh, yay. I rock. :)
I was always a fan of the old Moorola analog phones.
Nice audio quality and reception, and very comfortable on one's ear.
Ahhhh.
The good old days of AMPS

Sure your not thinking about that tiny 8210? The 3210 was quite popular and performed well whereas the 8210 was just urgh that thing broke if you coughed on it

Blah, I like Ericsson.
Nokia's audio quality never did it for me, even though their RF performance was solid.
lol the 8210 was a complete joke... many problems.. but no the 3210 is a horrible fone.. the early releases were taken back cos of serious faults with the software... dodgy fones... the 3310 was nokias big success fone...
