My Nv30 speculation (actually pure guesses)

400MHz DDR SDRAM (effectively at 800MHz)

475MHz Core

8 pipes with 2 TMUs per pipe

4-6 VS units

PS+VS 2.0

8x FSAA MSAA

8x Intelisample AF (no spectacular IQ)

20%-35% faster than an Radeon 9700 Pro at maximum. (I wouldn't be surprised if the R300 has a few advantages in performance in some places)

Sorry if this sounds mad but I do not have high hopes (or looking forward to either new cards) for the Nv30 or the R350 for that matter. :cool:

eh, is this supposed to be a joke post? we've already had some concrete benchmarks and statements from nvidia that contradict several of the things you listed.

Is it just me or is every single of those points wrong?
It's 32x4
It's DDR2
There'll be no 475Mhz model
There's only 1TMU/pipe
There are no longer multiple VS units, but one very efficient one being +- equivalent to 3 VS units
It's PS2.0+ and VS2.0+
8x FSAA is MSAA+SSAA
8x Intellisample AF IQ is supposed to be better than the R300's one, but agreed, not spectacular ( what did you hope for, anyway? )
nVidia claim a 30-40% performance advantage ( but then again, 20%-35% might be correct, we don't know yet )

And all of that is official nVidia information.
