The power supply is huge but I dont mind and IMO the system doesnt really look as ugly as I first thought. They still have not mentioned how much power the 360 draws but I wouldn't be surprised if it was as much as a fully loaded PC.:eek:

ok in all seriousness, its around the size i expected it to be. it is kinda large, i hoped around like a laptop power supply. but it really wouldnt bug me as i wouldnt never see it.

I'd love to see a power supply that looked like the ghost trap. It'd be awesome. As a note, I'd be very surprised if it DIDN'T draw as much power as a PC. Probably not as much as a PC with SLi, but bear in mind that it's got enough RAM to be a PC, a high clocked CPU that I doubt is all thaaaat efficient in terms of power, and a high end GPU. It will consume a lot of power - no doubt in my mind.

Some high end laptops have power supplies big like that.

Mine is about half the size but after prolongued use it get so hot I can barely touch it. A "brick" like that probably contains a power supply delivering 150-200W

MS did damn well on the design of this system if the best the detractors can come up with is a power supply brick. :D
