I am having difficulty with a W2000P install. This is on an Abit BH6 (Slot 1) motherboard with a Gainward TI4200 video card. The video settings are stuck at 16 colors and 800x600 resolution max. Looking at the hardware settings I am getting a Code 10 about the video card. A number of people have suggested the problem is with the chipset drivers, but I downloaded the 6.3.0.1007 suggested for this board, and when run it says that the OS has the chipset drivers loaded already. This motherboard and video card work fine at 32 bit color and 1024x768 resolution running W98SE. Any help will be appreciated.

What video drivers are you attempting to use in Win 2k? On a motherboard that old, the stock chipset drivers installed by Microsoft should work fine.

I have tried several drivers over the past months. I started with the 42.?? that Gainward had as their last W2000/XP driver for the card, then tried 56.72 on suggestion from someone else, and finally 78.01 from Nvidia's web site. The results have been the same with all of these drivers.
