Internet sharing

Hello,
I have two computers!
one has windows XP pro w/ sp2
and another one has SUSE linux

my internet connection is through the wireless adapter on my Windows mechine!

I want to share the connection between them!


I have setuped the linux mechine!
BUT my problem is here:

When i run VMware and install windows on that, and share the internet!
the internet sharing works, i mean the linux could connect to internet... etc!

but when i do the same thing on the computer itself ( windows) it doesnt' work!
is shows that the connection is shared but it doesn't work!

I have realized that when i use the command TRACEROUTE 192.168.0.1 ( on my linux) it can't reach it but it could ping it!
when i disable the Microsoft firewall it could reach it but then it still can't connect to the internet !

I'm going nuts here!
some one help... plz... its been 3 months since i'm trying to get this to work..!

What does the output of ifconfig from the Linux machine look like?

I don't know :P i'm not exceited though...!
well the things is that the problem is from my windows!
since i tried and installed XP on my VMWARE and followed the basic steps which i did on my XP and now the internet work on my SusE!
i just don't get why it doesn't work when i'm not using VMWARE!
