Hi. Im looking to purchase a flat screen but I remember reading something about them not being good for games. I recently saw a 19 inch running MOHAA with a ATI 9700. It looked awesome. Can someone direct me on some good reviews regarding games, because if there is a problem, I'll just get a 19 inch CRT an wait for later. thanks

the thing about LCD screens is their response time limit how high your fps can go. for some people this may be a problem. for others, not. it depends on how much gaming you plan to do, and/or how sensitive your eyes are.
keep in mind that LCDs that even can offer 40fps can be drastically more expensive than your run of the mill affordable LCDs.
still waiting on a 18" LCD that can do 60fps.

That, and I doubt that its worth $900.

Well, I spent $1500 on a sony gdm-f500r and will now be replacing it with a dell 2000fp so I guess I'll let you know if it's worth that $900.

my $250 Viewsonic G810 21' will definitely last me till then ;)
