Has anybody besides me experienced this lately? Every now and then nvnews doesn't respond for about 10 minutes at a time. Meanwhile, other websites work perfectly fine.
Yes. I just got it again a little bit ago. Seems to happen on Sunday evening the most I've noticed or there abouts.
I've noticed some issues today. I'm sure Mike is aware and working on it.
The Planet has been making upgrades on Sunday nights. I am aware of the slow response time we are having. We have had extremely heavy traffic this week and when Awstats runs, it slows us to a crawl. It's a common problem and I usually disable Awstats or take the server off line for a few minutes in order to free up memory. I am going to upgrade the server soon :)
Yeah, we've consistently had over 600 people on the forums alone today (not to mention the increased overall website traffic).
I am going to upgrade the server soon cool !! ... you have to do a write up when you do ... when you do the upgrades go clusters server ...just becouse that would make for one cool write up...
Damn Mike, still having issues with awstats? That sucks. I remember that being an issue for quite some time now. Is there an alternative that you could try that wouldn't be too costly or complicated, or would that create an issue with The Planet?

It's like a black hole to me I am going to check with The Planet and see what they recommend.
