Hey guys, I'm running an athlon 64 4000+ oc'd from 2400 to 2600 (no multi. changes, just my mhz from 200 to 216) and I'm wondering how hot it can get without me worrying? I'm not experiencing any freezing at all, but after playing a game for about 45-1hr, it gets to be around 52-53 degress C. Just wondering you all's opinion on the temp. Also, with air cooling, is there any way to OC more ? Thanks!

those temps are decent, but not all that good considering it can take a minimum of 45 minutes. thermal grease instead of a thermal pad can drop the temp a bit, maybe try a better cooler especially if you are going to OC more. You can try a 120mm fan on the back of the case to take the heat off from the heatsink and have another thermaltake etc. over it. Just make sure the CPU heat is blowin to the back/outside somewhere of the case...maybe try some more case fans so there isnt dead heat sitting in your case...not sure what your airflow is like so i wouldn't no...
hmm maybe you can put the stock fan(if u have one) blowin the air up, then a fan on the back with little slits so air can blow out, then a fan infront of those two, like right before the cpu fan, facing a direction so that the air blows toward the cpu fan which will blow the cpu heat to the final fan which will take the heat out of your case...
the only problem: will it fit? lol ;) just try somethin like that, minus the fan before the cpu if u want. or water cooling always helps, unless u dont wanna get in that hastle. im sure someone hasa better idea.

Not sure about the 4000+, but for the X2 the max operating temp is 65C.
