View Full Version : Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 vs. Logitech Z-2300
Disregarding price, which of these two 2.1 speaker systems do you think is better?
I luv Logi speaker systems. But, I think, between these two, you'll be much happier with the Klipsch's.
The Klipsch are more dynamic to my earballs. If I were starting over with a new sound system, it would likely be Klipsch or finding a home theater in a box that had 6 channel inputs.
I know this is contradicting the original question, but are the Klipsches worth the extra $$$ over the Logitechs?
I have two sets of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's and the quality is excellent.
As for other 2.1's I have a set of Logitech Z-340's that come close to the Klipsch's, especially considering the price difference, unfortunately the Z-340's are no longer available.
Several years ago I purchased a used set of Klipsch 4.1's which are still in use on my main system. One of the best sound investments I have made.
You might want to look at some Altec Lansing MX5021's. That's a great 2.1 set, THX certified and all. Altec Lansing makes quality products.
You can get them for around $130-$140 online. I believe Newegg has them.
