System specs in sig.

Running the 81.85WHQL drivers, tried Coolbits and NVTweak, and for some reason my core Mhz is reported as 303Mhz rather than 430Mhz. When I try to set it to 450Mhz, it fails.

Clean install of XP and SP2, no other issues so far. Benchmarks and stuff run fine, but I do not seem to be able to overclock the card, at all.

Any idears? Driver bug?

That would make sense, in Windows the core of a 7800GT runs at 275mhz and only increases during 3D games and such.
Run the hardware monitor of Rivatuner then play games, come out and check the log file, your see the clock speed has increased to cater for the game.

If it hasn't , RMA the card with a bomb attached.
