View Full Version : WOW expansion LV 70 cap
So the Burning Crusade expansion rasies the level cap to 70.
Does this mean we get to spend 10 more talent points?
We can get 2 end of tree 31 pt talents? That would be Uber!
Might unbalance things though. And it's gonna be a bitch getting to lvl 70.

Yeah, it will be interesting to see what they do with talents as they designed them so that you could not have more than one "uber" talent. Having more talent points would change this if they didn't change the current talent trees when this goes into effect.

DW Fury will become >>>>>>> MS Build. Spam MS. Spam BT. Spam WW. MS should be back up by then, rinse, repeat.
Edit: Frak I'd be 1 point short of getting the 2nd 31 tier talent. Still, DW would be better than 2H, especially with the hard coded miss penalty being lifted next patch.

Last I checked, this is just a rumor, hasn't been confirmed by Blizzard. I wouldn't think they would raise the cap, at least not by that much.

He is basically saying the warrior will be unstoppable. Allow me to show you what a Execute can do. Now Imagine MS (Mortal Strike) 4 times in a single fight.
Remembe my crit was against a lvl 54 elite.

Pallies will get a talent that actually makes them hit hard or lower the cast time on their shield/hearth spell.

Maybe they'll add something that make paladins actually fun to play.
I only use my Lvl 60 paladin when I need to make some money. Bores me to tears. Seal, heal, blast the undead, repeat.
Most likely 60+ talent points will be a seperate thing, probalbly a new tree talent path or some new talent upgrades after the 31 talent point area.
They wont make it so that ure talent points will stack with the older ones.
10 more points would allow PoM + Combustion + Pyroblasts.

Most likely you get speical talent points for past 60 that can only be used for a diffrent talent tree, or none at all.

Rogue get her?
Sounds like a ganking to me.
Easiest thing to do is just roll a new gf. I would prob wait for the expansion, then I would roll a blood elf gf since the undead chics are kinda dry. Yea....

Yeah, I cancelled again. Second time. I play for a few months and then get burnt out on it. It becomes a chore. Started a new toon on the new RP/PVP server and got bored with it. The thought of plowing through the Westfall and Darkshire quests for the 6th time did not amuse me. Without a fun guild any MMO gets lame.
I'll probably go back after a few months off though. Or maybe when the expansion pack is out. I still think WOW is the best game ever made. I just need some variety is all.

Uh you don't HAVE to do Westfall and Darkshire you know. There's always Loch Modan, Wetlands, Darkshore, Ashenvale [well okay no Ashenvale on a PVP server, horde owns that place]. Speaking of horde...you could always roll horde.

Yea, rolling throught the same areas over and over does suck but like VZ said you can actually quest in different areas and opposite faction. There's so many and even when I run around with my lvl 60's I still see lowbie areas where I have never quested in.. Thats what I did with the release of these new servers(rppvp, prob same one as you). Went with a dwarf rogue and quested in redridge and darkshire zones for the first time.
But yea, a month or two off always does justice. I've done it and really wouldn't convience somebody not to. The problem is there just isn't a decent pc game out there that can compete with wow imo. But yea, like with any game can get boring.
