I been checked planetprices site for cheapest X1800 XL, at lowestonweb site, they sell most OEM cards, I am surprised they sell X1800 XL OEM for £279.99 and they also got lots of X800 Pro, X800 XL 512Mb, X850 XT and X850 XT PE cards near the price of X1800 XL and some are overpriced, that big mess prices structure.

Another large batch of X1800 XT cards due today 2 Nov had failed to showed up at Overclockers UK, Gibbo said it will arrive at the end of this week or next week since ATI started shipped the cards from Canada to Hong Kong over the last weekend.

Yeah that's allstarshop for you. I got my X800XTPE on June 6th of last year - for $599 + ship. A month later they wanted $699 and at one point I think it might've hit $799.

It'll probably be back in stock relatively soon. I'm sure the demand was high there today. I want to see newegg get it. :)

With all the hoopla about the 580/1730mhz 512meg 7800 gtx you still ordered the x1800xt?

Yeah, but it'll go in my 2nd system. The ATI HDTV Wonder just works much better with an ATI card and right now the X800 Pro is really crippling that system. I tried to use my 6800U with it but I have a lot more problems with the MMC software when trying to use it with a nvidia card.

If 7800GTX 512M specs are true and the cards are much faster than the 7800GTXs I'm using now, I'll probably sell my 7800GTXs and upgrade to the 512M versions. It'll have to be a lot faster than what I have now though. I had planned to wait on my main system until the card that comes after the 7800GTX 512M (whatever that might be). But, I didn't really expect the specs we're seeing on the 512M card though so now I'm a little unsure if I'll wait it out or not.

Ill bet 1$ :) That the 7800 "Ultra" will be out worldwide (not in limited numbers) before the X1800XT.

Out of stock already in NE as well. Well, as much as the 7800GTX 512MB will rock, I still can't get it. If I have to get a new card I'll go for the ATI X1800XT since I have to review it for our small cypriot website. :(

Yeah you already won it. :D 7800 GTX 512Mb "7800 Ultra" cards are currently in US military style built up the stocks in full quantity on time for 3rd full volume launch on 14 November after 7800 GTX 256Mb in June and 7800 GT in August. The situations were so bad with ATI as they are still struggling to deliver stocks of X1800 XT and X1300 and tried to cleared off old X800 stocks space for new X1600. I seen lots of ATI fans lose patience with ATI for the very limited availability of X1800 XT, if they cant get X1800 XT they wanted for so long then they will buy more powerful readily available 7800 GTX 512Mb "7800 Ultra" cards instead of wait forever until 2006 for X1800 XT in full quantity. They will have much fun with 7800 GTX 512Mb clocked to 625/2000 and beyond.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't ATI actually delivering these first shipments of the XT earlier than they said they would? I thought it wasn't until Nov. 14th or something before they were supposed to show up.

Well Newegg had it in stock but it went out of stock after 1 hour, Dragex (http://www.rage3d.com/board/showpost.php?p=1333998112&postcount=9) from Rage3D forum ordered it and found out it wasnt in stock, in fact it was in backorder. It wont be in stock until 19 November, look like you will get 7800 GTX 512Mb instead earlier on 14 November. :)

ATI started the first shipments in last weekend but UK retailers didnt received it this week and they contacted ATI to find out where the shipments went, it now had left Hong Kong, they should receive it by next week and the second shipments follow 3 days after that.

I thought the 14th was the Crossfire press date with the XT out Nov. 2?
