CDW is overpriced anyway. Let's wait for retailers like Newegg or ZZF to get them in stock.

Yeah good point. They still want $459 for the XL. Way overpriced.
No image, no specs and they say PCI. What's up with that?
Not sure why no pic or specs they say shipping in 3 to 6 days.

CDW does that. I've seen other items like that. When they supposedly had the X800XTPE it was the same way I think.

When is the expected date for New Egg and ZipZoomFly to get them in stock?

Your guess is as good as mine. Quite frankly, I'm surprised CDW would have it...though I seem to remember something like this back in the GF3 days, where they posted it as available in 3-6 days on their site but it was at least 3-4 weeks before it was out en masse.
You think thats pricy, here in Norway i will have to pay about 766$.

How much would a 7800GTX cost you in Norway?
Ummm a 1800xt 512mb isn't even that expensive here in Finland where you have to sell you're kindney to buy some groceries(kidding)! :D But 700$ that has to be a joke or somethin', they don't have 'em in stock here yet but they cost around 600€(pre-order, a 7800gtx ~ 500€)!

CDW is one of the guilty parties of last years X800XTPE fiasco. You'd call them and they'd say they had 25 in stock, order one, then 2 weeks later you'd get an email saying none are available. You'd then get more emails pushing the ship date 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, etc.
I think we need a heart-attack smiley
Today if you wanna buy a 6800GT here it will cost you around 500$ and 600$ for an ultra, as for the high end ATI cards, you can get an Asus X850XTPE for 860$ !! so i think the X1800XT will be over 1000$ when it becomes available here, in a year or so...

Might as well import it from the US then if tax is not too bad. I live in a free port, so import all the time.

The high price of X1800XT is correct, dont believed all the nonsense ATI fans spreaded rumours about X1800XT will shipping in massive volume and hoped for price cuts very soon.
Gibbo from Overclockers UK said that only 100 X1800XT cards are now shipping to UK retailers. X1800XT are still in very limited availablity worldwide until next year.
It seems X1800XT is available in some shops in Germany.
http://2buy-it.de/ (http://2buy-it.de/product_info.php?products_id=1254) will have stock tomorrow for 520€ which is actually a good price for European standards.
