Looks like the SP is less scripted and just as intense. Now if only my system could run it decently. Damn proprietary engines.

November 15 for Asia Pacific. I can't wait that long so I decided to import it from the US.

WHats this I hear about healing while you rest in multiplayer? :/ Doesn't that destroy the object of knowing your way around the level to pick up health?

From what I am understanding... there is no health packs. You heal by resting. This could give the campers a huge edge... or not, we will have to see exactly how it works.

Hrm, the mean score is (9 + 9 + 9 + 8.5 + 9) /5 = 8.9 so I don't quite understand why they gave it 8.5 overall, surely 9.0 would have been more appropriate?

If you look through IGN's reviews, they never actually average them out. They individually rank each criteria of the game and then just give a general overall rank. Kinda dumb IMO.

This worries me

Listed on at the end of the system requirements on the back of the box

Notice: This game contains technology intended to prevent coping that may conflict with some disc and virtual drives.

<----------- begins practicing the art of Camping... I'm use to running around with the biggest gun I can find... maybe it will be a nice change to sit in the shadows and pick off unsuspecting noobies

I don't know why people are freaking out about the self healing. It's not like it gives anyone an extra edge. Campers will still get low kill ratio's because they won't be on the front lines.

It is similar to saying that it is unfair to have tanks and helicopters in BF2 because someone wants to play as an infantry... Whatever it is just a game feature that everyone has equal oportunity to use.

I don't think it has to be. I think it just means it has some sort of copy protection. I thought I saw a similar statement on the Q4 and maybe FEAR box but I could be mistaken.

Does not have Starforce. Works great with Game Jackal!!! I like this game the best out of FEAR and Quake 4, it is really awesome (less non scripted) and much better optimized. The only negative I have is that they still have not incorporated a decent ragdoll physics engine.

I think it will be Securom 7 (or Safedisc). Securom 7 is also really picky when it comes to virtual drives. Starforce can be picky with some optical drives, but it doesnīt care if you have Daemon Tools, or Alc120% installed, as long as you donīt try to start a disc image from a virtual drive.

So, how much better does it run (framerate-wise) in comparison to the demo?
