Finally have my rig ready to put together, and the 2005 is part of the mix.
I have read a bit on widescreengaming and other sites like that, but help from those here who use it (or 2045 or similar) .
What settings do you usually run games at?
Do you have to adjust fov?
What do you do or what settings do you use if a game gives problems.
Just want to have a good understanding before I power up for the first time this weekend.

Nothing to fear here. Experimentation is key and pay attention to the advice at WideScreenGaming. What games are you planning on playing? What card you running?

I have the EVGA 7800 GTX KO

I have a 2405fpw and the same video card. I play enemy territory and battlefield 2 with no problems at all. I play all my games at 1600x1200 so enjoy your monitor!

Why aren't you running in widescreen?

Enemy territory doesn't support 1920x1200, the highest is 1600x1200 :) I could run battlefield 2 at that resolution. Damn now you got me going, when I get home tonight I'm changing the resolution on BF2 hehe

I play BF2 at 1680x1050 with the command in the short cut.

I play Quake 3 at 1680x1050 & games like DOOM III & Quake 4 at 1280x800 for performance reasons.
1280x800 is also a widesceen resolution.

Also Dell has released Digitally Signed Drivers for the 2005fpw. [ Link (http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R86087&formatcnt=1&fileid=112691) ]
They are for 32bit XP & 2000 only, no 64bit yet :( Driver released 10/22/2005.
