I think the US age is way too high, 18 is a good age to start drinking(legally) lets forget the fact ive been drinking since i was 14;) :D

Labatt Blue is alright, so is Northern. I like Rolling Rock a fair bit.
Those are the only kinds of beer I've drank though. I don't buy beer for myself (even though I legally can) but if I'm with some friends and beer is present I'll have a few. :)

I never drink alcohol. I'm free!
It's much better this way... I can always drive and I will never be crawling on the floor because I can't stand on my own feet. :D
Meanwhile, the effects of alcohol....

It happens for both guys and girls!
I've been drinking beer since I was 12 or 13, I don't remember. My dad (a school teacher :) ) started me on it. Before that I was drinking wine and stuff on special occassions (like christmas) since I was 7 or 8. Because of this, my 18th birthday (drinking age in the UK) was really no big deal to me. Infact, I hardly ever drink any form of booze anymore.
I like Stella Artois, Fosters and Newkie Brown.

21... we can have children, get drafted for ware, pay income taxes, but we can't drink! It's no wonder we have so many problems with alcohol. Our laws are setup for revenue.
Of course it's arguable if an 18-20 year old is really a kid... Afterall if they were still to be considered kids and need to be dealt with (legally) as children...then perhaps they'd then be too young to deal with the realities of war... If on the other hand they are not, well then...

18 is a reasonable age for legal drinking, on the proviso that most can pass for 18 two years early...

I don't drink. I know I'm only 16 and the legal age over here is 18 but I don't see the point. There's plenty of nice tasting drinks out there (soft drinks mostly) Why not just drink those?

I've never had an alcoholic beverage in my life, and on my 21st birthday (long way off I know) I hope I know when to stop, lol.
Our city has a deep Volga German heritage, and is actually famous for its drinking. Fort Hays State University (our uni) used to be in the top 5 party colleges in the US, and is still in the top 10!
Bah! You guys should start drinking water ;) :D
