nvidia has a new reference bios for their 4400fx quadros that seems to have lowered the chip temp 4 C. Using the same driver as a control, the idle temp is much lower. 3d temp has remained the same. Interesting.

The new bios seems to also disply the card data pre-computer bios again, this feature was not there on the prior bios.
if you are going to sli quadros, be sure to have the same exact bios on both. Obviously, however, the stickers on the back of the cards do not always equate to the bios that is on the card. Check the bios with a utility disk and then compare numbers.
On Nvidia reference quadros I have not seen a problem, but I did see mismatched bios/sticker configs on the PNY quadros.
