Glx error

I get the same GLX error as unisol 5, he reinstalled his system to get it to work, I don't feel like doing that, anyone that knows something?

The problem, when I launch with glx, there is a scrambled glx pictures and the computer stops.
I run Slackware 8.1 kernel 2.4.20...

Please list your hardware config, being as specific as possible with revisions and versions where applicable. Also post as attachments the output to ``cat /proc/version'', ``cc -v'', your kernel .config, /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, and /var/log/XFree86.0.log

the last that stand in xfree log was

When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send

I have the same problem.I recently have installed latest nvidia drivers build [5336],X starts without any problems,nvidia splash screen ok etc. I`ve done all necessary conf i my XFree86-4.conf [uncomented GlCore and dri, replaced nv with nvidia etc. etc. but when i try to use ANY GL application [like screensaver,xmms vis. plugins] X server crashes with following error Caught Signal 11, X server aborting .This happened after (II) [GLX]: Initializing GLX extension.
The strangest thing is that when i run X as root all GL apps works just fine - no problems at all, but when i run it as ordinary user, GL applications crash X server. This made me think that the problem is somehow connected with nvidia driver files and their permissions but i don`t know which ones.
In the other hand sometimes and somehow :) GLX GOT INITIALIZED an i succeed running GL app but just for a few seconds before X crash again, which makes me think that is not permission related problem after all.
I`ve read a lot of things in this forum and i`ve tried almost all posted here but i still can`t find a solution or exponation of this issue, so i`ll appreciate any help given.
