This article on Ars Technica is really really interesting. He talks quite a bit about what he thinks the Revolution will have, and then about the idea of connectivity for all the consoles. Good stuff. I think he did get one fact wrong - From what I've read the 360 will have a standard DVD drive, and not an HD-DVD one, as he states. Still, really really good though.

EDIT: He fixed the HD-DVD 'flub'. It's all correct now.

great article. Here is a quote I especially like:

Microsoft has already, by all accounts, won the dev tools battle. Everyone from John Carmack to Hideo Kojima has said that Microsoft's XNA toolchain is superior to the PS3's development environment in terms of getting games out the door quickly.

They have nothing on the gpu side of things. Thats the part I want to read.

That's because it's an overworked subject as is, and has absolutely no factual basis for fair comparison in game performance yet.

Ars technica do have an article on the Xenos, right here (http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20050616-5000.html). As I recall, Beyond 3D also have a good one somewhere or other. At present, there's almost no info on the RSX, beyond that it's a G70 derivative.
