Hi. It would help us if you you provide some information about your system, such as what type of graphic card(s), operating system, drivers, etc.

rewt ur the creator of coolbits, right?
well for your question:
im going to buy a new computer, i was planning to use coolbits on my new computer so i detected to make a topic here...
im having a ATi card here so its for the new computer
the new computer is gonna be Alienware ALX Aurora(customized, not the mainstream one)
(ALX is not available for germany yet, maybe its coming out soon, i dont know but i want to buy that computer, maybe there's a way i can buy it from germany
here is the website if you need it: http://www.alienware.com/Configurator_Pages/Aurora_alx.aspx?SysCode=PC-AURORALX-SLI-D&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT
btw im fine with this computer, i know its expensive but i know what im doing ;)
edit: if you could take a look on my topic on this site also it would be great since i know ur registered there or even an admin or moderator there: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8108
edit2: edit works again :o
Well since it is an SLI setup I'd recommend starting out with http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_appprofile_howto1.html

ive read that already ;)
btw since ive already made a topic i dont think that i need to make another one for this question:
as im planning to use windows xp pro 64bit
ive a few questions: hows this stuff with 32 bit working on it?
id like to know if programs like rivatuner and nvtweak would work on it aswell as most common other nvidia tweak programs such as nVHardPage etc
I just uploaded a newer version of coolbits to my webspace. This would be a good one for you to start out with. It enables both the SLI and Overclocking options.

Oh and btw yes RivaTuner works with XP64.

im confused now again :p
a nooo u changed the coolbits SLI on nvtweak site T_T
is there a way u can change it back?:P
can u tell me whats the difference between the small one u uploaded right now and the old one?
Well I removed the button to the Coolbits3D SLi because it didn't enable both SLi and Overclocking options simultaneously for some people. If you still want to download Coobits 3D, it is available here (http://laptopvideo2go.com/nvtweak/coolbits). You can change the value of "coolbits" in that file to 1A and that will give you both SLi and Overclocking options.

thanks for the new updates to the site :)
so what do you think, which coolbits version should i use? as u also uploaded 3 coolbits versions there.
thanks for the help so far.
I personally think you would be satisfied with the coolbits_sli.reg. Very simple, yet very effective.

ok it seems that the coolbits is just for overclocking the coolbits sli is for overclocking and sli but whats with the other one, the one with this long list, my first thought about coolbits was that it unlocks many hidden features in nvidia forceware drivers, so yeah im still confused and dont know what to do :p
It enables some more options like Refresh Rate Overrides, Video Mixing Renderer, Fan Control, Debugging, etc. Coolbits 3D is quite a bit older, however, so a lot of the values are now built into the ForceWare drivers themselves (except mainly for the ones mentioned above).

im not interested to overclock as i never did it and never gonna do so.
only wanted to enable all hidden features of forceware though
so does it make any sense to use coolbits even though i would use the latest forceware drivers?
