In the process of buying atm :

- 4400 which I should easily get to 2.6-2.7
- 2GB ballistix 4000 RAM, maaaaaaybe 4GB if I flip a coin the day I'm ordering ;)
- Definitely dual cards - this is why I'm waiting: X1800XT or 7800GTX 512 !decisions!
- Asus 32X SLI or DFI XFire board - waiting on gfx to decide
- I already have 1.8TB hard drive space on the network, so maybe just a pair of tiny 36GB Raptors stripped for performance.
- Im not a huge audiophille, so a decent set of Creative 5.1's coupled with onboard sound should be fine
- The gf has a 16x DL DVD burner in her machine, and I install across the GB network from her machine. I dont use a drive much, and its an extra power drain.
- 2x 20" Dell 2001FPs, and 2x 24" Dell 2405FPWs

I have it all but the gfx and mobo, should be complete by next week no matter what i decide. w00t.

Not really... only game she plays is Simpsons Hit and Run... hehe, but I game on it sometimes.

I still don't know how you can get your wiring like that man, you have the cleanist wiring I have ever seen.

Ha, thats awesome she plays the Simpsons. Is it any good?

As for the wiring, it just takes time, planning, and studying(of your case and other's) to get them nice and neat. Thanks though :)

BTW, why is there a RED sata cable running over your gf's 6800? couldnt you have routed it differently? It gives me the willies :p

EDIT: thanks OWA, you posted about a second before me

Yea the Simpsons hit and run is pretty cool, imagine GTA set in the simpsons universe.

As for the SATA, yet I could have put it differently, but its UV and lights up pink so I put it where you could see it :)

Nice, nice Jak. I sold my Koolance after about 3 months. Dont regret it one bit..ok maybe a little. But Im much happier with my clean interior, silent fans, good temps, and no worries of water leakage. Nice job on the wiring, that case makes it tough and so does having two videos.

Why not upgrade your case? Had it for a while havent you? Also, I was wondering why you havent upgraded your speakers. Dont you want some 5500's or Promedia Ultra's?

Heh, jak does that little fan you have for the ram actually help? What is that like 60mm?

mullet
11-08-05, 03:40 PM
yeah Jak, nice setup man clean job.

jAkUp
11-08-05, 09:45 PM
Hah yea its a 60MM :D

I dunno if it really does anything or not, I hope it helps a little :)

As for my speakers, I hardly use my speakers anymore because most of my gaming is at night... so my HD555's are what I use most of the time :)

And yes, I have had that case for a very long time. I'm definetely gonna get a new one soon... only redoing my entire WC'ing isn't exactly an enticing idea.. hehe. Eventually I will get a Lian Li or something ;)
