I currently have a PNY Geforce FX 5600XT (the underclocked one)256MB AGP 8X card. I would like to upgrade but I am way out of the loop on what is better than what I have, but in the pricerange I am looking in.

Here is what I have found on New Egg that I think is better than what I have:

I dont really wanna spend over 75 bucks, things are tight right now, so my question is, are any of those cards a decent upgrade or is the performance pretty much on par with what I have.

Please post some suggestions or links to other products you recommend.

If you're only willing to spend $75, then don't even waste your money on those cards. Consider upgrading to at least a GeForce 6 series card. There are some pretty good 6600's with 8 pixel pipelines and 128-bit memory going for around $100 at newegg. Anything less than that I'd be hard pressed to call it an upgrade at all.

please o please get the 6600gt or 6800le. They can be found for 130$. it is a waste to go less as it won't really be an upgrade.

The RADEON 9600 is the better buy from those choices. But see if you can get say a 9800.

Yeah, none of the cards you listed would be MUCH better than what you have already. Any performance difference would be negligible at best.

Try going for a 6600 atleast. But a 6600GT, or if you saved a bit 6800GS would be even better.

My recommendations stands with a 6600GT at this moment.

the 6600 (i have 256mb version) is pretty nice when overclocked...

i recommend at least a 6600 128mb to notice any diff., maybe 6600gt or 6600LE if u r on a real tight budget

The 6200 for the money is about the best budget card the ones you have listed all suck especially the 5700le (ie used all of those cards) The 6200 still has new features like sm3.0 etc... and its dirt cheap :D

neither 6200, nor any of the mid end FX series would be a decent upgrade at the moment.
IMO, wait till you can put like 120 - 130 bux on a card. get a 6600GT or 6800(NU) or x800 based AGP8X card.
will be better than buyin a 6200 now, and again changin in a few months.

I would have to say the 6600GT atm if your restricted, anything less isn't worth it right now, just wait a lil while if the cash flows not there atm.
