Hello,

I have a Quadra FX1400 on a Dell Precision 670 Workstation running kernel "2.4.21-32.0.1.ELsmp". I have applied the "NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7676-pkg1.run". However, the system keeps locking up and the error logs show the following errors:

Nov 8 14:16:37 fl08-12007 kernel: NVRM: loading NVIDIA Linux x86 NVIDIA Kernel Module 1.0-7676 Fri Jul 29 12:58:54 PDT 2005
Nov 8 14:16:38 fl08-12007 kernel: NVRM: bad caching on address 0xf44d7000: actual 0x163 != expected 0x363
Nov 8 14:16:38 fl08-12007 kernel: NVRM: please see the README section on Cache Aliasing for more information
Nov 8 14:16:38 fl08-12007 kernel: NVRM: bad caching on address 0xf44d7000: actual 0x163 != expected 0x363

I am wondering if anyone has seen these errors before and could they be causing the lockups. Also, is there a newer driver available I should be using?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Just curious if you've gotten anywhere with this?
