I would like to build a dual Opteron SCO 6.0 server.

I'm looking for motherboard, video card and Raid 5 card suggestions that won't give me any issues using SCO since this is the first SCO server I have built.

All that will be running on this server is an accounting database.

Thanks in advance

Bad place to ask, this is a Linux forum. That company doesn't fare to well with us.

Dude, why on earth would you choose SCO?

I'm not a SCO guy, but a client of mine wants me to build them a new server that will run the latest version of SCO for their accounting system. I don't know anything about SCO, which explains why I posted here.

Could you suggest a better forum that I should post this on?

Thanks

Frankly I can't think of any Linux forum where there would be a lot of people eager to help you with an SCO question.

If you don't know about SCO you should check out Groklaw (http://www.groklaw.net/).

SCO Unix is not Linux and I doubt you will have an easy time getting anything from nVidia running on their proprietary Unix. From my understanding, they do have a Linux Kernel Personality or some such that might help.

Also, I like how the mouseover on the word "SCO" brings up some Microsoft intellectual property nonsense :) Definitely check out Groklaw and let your client know that SCO is not to be trusted.
