It seems that Diamond MM will release a ATI X1800 series with AGP8x interface...

But in tab : x800XL ?!?!?
ATI told : there's no AGP support for x1800, and I think it is 'hoax'...

What ive read that if the demand was there AGP is possible and apparently there is demand for it.

That prolly doesnt mean ATI will stand in the way of anyone willing to build and sell a AGP version of the card.

Uh no Jim Bob, ATI said they themselves won't be making an AGP Part but that if the demand is there thier AIB partners sure will.

And on that note I just ordered a X800XL from that site thinking it was a X1800XL.

Stupid ass naming scheme...

That sucks, and yes, they have a TERRIBLE naming scheme.
