XFX seems to have two versions of this card. The "XXX Edition" is the overclocked (580/1.73) that most vendors seem to be selling. They also have the regular (550/1.7) version, so pay attention to the fine print before you pull your triggers. You have to go to the video card section, choose 7800GTX as the GPU and 512M as the memory size. If you tried just searching the site for 7800 + 512 or something like that, it won't turn up anything (or it didn't for me anyway).

Price is $749 each currently (at Newegg).

Did your Monarch order go through? Also, at least you'll have some new 64-bit drivers to try it with if so. The 81.94s are apparently out for XP-64.

Oops, sorry. The release notes and stuff are there but the download isn't ready yet. It appears the same way for XP-32. The page is up but the download link doesn't work yet.
