EDIT....sorry this seems to have been a mixup with one of the news posters over at neowin :thumbdwn: sorry about that...
If you are on 1.0.X you will get the notification button in the toolbar and you will have to do the full update. Just like how the security updates are from like 1.0.6 to 1.0.7...which really sucks. But after you guys get 1.5 you won't have to worry about that and firefox will get updated a hell of a lot more. Security fixes within hours via binary patching...also same for releases. this is the part i love the best about the new firefox!!
Sweet! I await its release :D

That's really lame.
Though I have to admit, when I was using 1.5 beta 1, I wasn't overly impressed with it. It seemed to be pretty much the same as 1.07.
You guys sure it was a hoax?

Judging from the responses over at mozillaZine, it's a hoax or crossed wires or something.

ya,
One of our newsposters was 'ill-informed' and on behalf of the admin of Neowin we apologise for the inconvienience caused.
I can offer no other excuse! sorry.. oh well.
I'm using RC2 now. It works really well. It seems to renders pages much better than the old 1.0.x series did.
Does anyone know if firefox can keep visited pages in the tabs even if the browser is closed? Thats one feature I really like about Opera browser.
