well i am going to sell my current system and build a new one. I was thinking of upgrade and i can't really choose a good processor. I only have 500 to spend on a new system.

So it's the socket 939 3700+? Because, I believe, that is a San Diego which means:

SSE3
90nm
1MB L2

I'd say it's a pretty good upgrade. :D

Haven't got any actual figures, but I'm a bit disappointed after upgrading from a S754 3400+ to S939 3800+. CoD2 frame rates haven't improved very much (upgrading from a 6800GT to a 7800GT too). Might all be down to using onboard sound card, so I've ordered an X-Fi which I hope will improve things :)
