Any FPS is better then the BIA series, I think they are pathetic. Sure they are fun and the squadmates say some great lines but the AI and the aiming scheme such really bad. Stupid magic bullets...

I'd have to vote for Call of Duty 2, but they're really not similar games beyond the fact they're WWII themed. Sure, in CoD2 you fight alongside a lot of fellow soldiers, but you can't control their actions. It depends on what you're in the mood for, and if you like "lone wolf" style shooters or tactical, squad-based games.

if BIA had better aiming, hit detection and the most important aspect better MP or as some would say any type of MP it would give CoD1/uo/2 a run for its money but it does not so CODx all the way


TBH CoD2 almost went the way of BIA being a console ported to PC. COD2 has had most of it's MP ripped in lou of the xbox/360 version.

There's no secret as such other than you have to get very close -- apparently they did this deliberately to try to force you to use tactics such as flanking.

That's what I found out when I visited the forum. I've played Medal of Honor + the two expansions, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, CoD 1 + 2 and it was so radically different I thought it was just because it was a buggy POS. But no, apparently that's the way it's meant to be.

BIA is one of the most utterly frustrating games I've ever played. Definitely one to avoid.

CoD2 on the other hand, well, I completed it in a few days :) Excellent game, though didn't seem to be a massive step over CoD 1.

COD2 is better, but BIA2 is a way harder game I imo, mostly because of the aiming thing.

And yes, Earned in Blood is not technically an expansion pack, but a new game. Apparently it plays the same though, and only has minor visual upgrades.
