Hi all, I just bought some Mushkin xp 4000 redline ram. 2x1 gig sticks with 3-3-2-8 timings. I cannot get the ram to run at ddr 500. I set it to that in the bios, but when I run cpuz it reports the cpu as running the correct speed 250 x 10 = 2500, but the ram is reported as running 266 mhz. What can I do?
thanks everyone!
You're the first person I have heard of that has complained about your RAM running too fast. :p
Is it set to 200mhz in the BIOS? If not set your memclock to 200mhz and see what that does for you.

It reports it as 266 when the bios boots up. But cpuz reports 160. Sorry for the confusion.
thanks ill try that and see what happens.
There is apreoblem at the moment the highest is 1:1 multiplier now if you set it too 500 it's 250 x 11 = 2750MHz at default voltage it doesn't work you have to manually set it to 10x250 and ram 400.

so is this a bios bug, or a motherboard limitation? I see you have the a8n sli premium. Do you have this problem as well?
thanks again
