...are really starting to suck! WTF is with this? They take over my browser (IE) page so it freezes and when I click anywhere or anything, up come the popups. It is this site doing it, and I have NO form of spy/adware on my rig.
nope, you have spyware from other places...not here...at least from what ive seen

It only comes from here. I have completely reformatted my PC, offline then came straight here to test. They come from here.

Coincidence then. Because if it were truly coming from here then most of us would be besieged by popups whenever we're here. I spend hours here each day during the workweek (lol) and I don't have problems like this at all.
ive been testing it now.... nope im not getting anything.... in IE and firefox... your highjacked dude.... ive been here for years and can tell you i have never seen a single pop up...
both riptide and I are here for hours each day...

Same here. Been browsing this site for hours a day for 5 years. Never had any problems with popups in IE, Firefox or Opera.

Nothing here either in IE 6 (64 or 32 bit) or in Firefox which is what I normally use. I'm in here for hours as well.

If it's not coming from here, it's something new and VERY well hidden. I never get spyware, am really anal about that stuff and I see nothing...spybot, ad aware, nothing. MSconfig, nothing....
They don't popup often here. About every 2 minutes the browser freezes, then anything I do to it, even closing it launches a popup.
ok. i just did all sorts of tests and went looking for popups and popunders...
you need to test you popup blockers then

Sorry dude, but you have other issues. Mike has never used pop-ups nor spyware on his site, nor would he. Mike is a stand-up guy that is not interested in profiting from this site, but rather attempting to generate just enough revenue to keep the site up. He loses money every single year performing this service for the community and you must understand that you are wrong and owe an apology for being so strident in your mistaken accusations.:thumbdwn:

Elvin Presler you need to run hijackthis.... sounds like you have a bho problem within IE...

Because I have an image and it only takes me 4 minutes to reformat clean and fresh.

Go figure.nope i just got done testing the banners and none of those stupid popunders either...... you have a BHO problem that you need to get ride of in IE...you have to understand sometimes those programs look for keywords within the browser itself...

Well Im guessing that your image has the spyware on it, hense even after formating its still there. Also if you are really anal about spyware, I wouldnt use IE ;) try Firefox :)

Have you considered that your image file may have spyware in it?
both riptide and I are here for hours each day...
So am I and I have seen the same probs, it is not so much site specific as ad-server specific.
It has to do with one of the ad-servers. I am simply resorting to blocking all of the ads, though I didn't really want to do that.
