Hi I've just got Battlefield 2 and installed it and i was playing on line and the game just crashed so i went to ea technical support and they suggested get the latest drivers from nvidia.com so i did that and it still happens. Does anybody have any suggestions? Well i think I got the right drivers.
I Have a Nvidia Geforce Fx5200 128Mb.
Thanks Chris14.

How does the game crash? Does it give you an error message, or just plain stop working?
You could try downloading the latest patch for BF2 if you haven't already. The problem may even be something else than the graphics card or driver, but you never know.

It Crashes Back to the desktop and i have my resolution set at 1280 by 1024 and wen it crashes it goes back to a quarter screen and i can only see a few of my desktop icons and i tried the patch and it wont even start up the game then. I hope this helps.

I'm running BF2 on a dell with a Geforce 5200, and it stinks. Driver lag gets me killed all the time. Reread the box, and BE2 requires GeForce 5700 or greater. I would think that's our problem. Anybody have any ideas?
