View Full Version : -Win 32- ForceWare 81.95 (Drivers Dated 11/11/05)
These are on Leadtek's asian FTP.
I'm downloading them now, site is kind of slow.
No kidding. 13k/sec for me.
DL'ing now... VERY slow. I'm curious on the date stamp on these.

been 10 minutes, where's the mirror? ;)

Patience young apprentice, first DL ended up with oodles of errors :(
It will take about 20min for me to upload with my ADSL.
Driver might be 21st November some files are 11th and some 21st.
Leadtek installer is also there I'll remove that as well.
Yes they are dated the 11th.

Driver date (INF) = 11th November
WHQL but I doubt it because of see below.
No international files
No setup files.
This driver is weird it's been butcherd by leadtek.
File dates are all over the place.
Probably not WHQL even though certificate is there as the INF as been modified for leadtek cards.
13MB file has been uploaded, links are in my sig.

What do you mean by all over the place, datestamp wise? Are some files older than the latest official release?
11-21-05, 11:13 PM
There are files dated 11th, 21st some from April 04 and some others.
Hopefully there will be a full leak soon.
The driver should work though, I havn't tested it yet.

Pondering if I should install them. NFS:MW has some oddities, and I'm wondering if these would fix it. I guess I could wait.

http://184.108.40.206/W2K_NV4x_8195.exe uploaded and fast dl ^_^
apparently need a modified inf otherwise it detects things as not a leadtek product

heh, i now have a WinFast PX 7800GTX TDH, had to reinstall my monitor driver after installing these :)

Right, you guys are spoiled.
I've uploaded a fixed version of this butchered driver, here are the fixes:
I've put back the nVidia install files, the Leadtek installer is gone :)
Redated the files to what they should be.
The Included INF has been fixed and now all Desktop GPU's are supported (like 81.94) not just the WInfast ones.
Any Laptop, TNT GPU etc will STILL need a modded INF.
The driver was and still probably won't be WHQL as the original INF is missing.
Seeing the WHQL certificate is there, I'd say nVidia will release this soon as well.
Link to driver is in my sig.
Has anyone tried these yet? I would but I'm at work so I can't.

Yeah, I would be interested to see some benchmarks on these drivers.

They're on nvidia's ftp, ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/81.95/ in 32bit and 64 bit flavours, dated Nov 17. Also WHQL'd.
I wonder if that is the only difference...just WHQL'd. If so, I'll just stick with the 81.94s.
