EVGA Releases World’s Fastest Graphics Card
EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GTX BlackPearl 512MB graphics card is based on the GeForce 7800 GTX 512 graphics processing unit (GPU), but operates at higher clock-speed compared to reference design. Particularly, the board clocks GPU at 600MHz, up from 550MHz on the reference, and GDDR3 memory at 1800MHz, up from 1700MHz set by default. The high clock-speeds are conditioned by water-based cooling solution.
Just put my order in for a couple :D

Nice, I'd like to see some benchmarks.

jakup, time to get new cards.

People are hitting close to 600/1800 on the 512's allready though on air.
I'm guessing this is the same card (not just "based on") with higher clocks and the blackpearl water block added right?
Still cool though.

Ridiculous...but I LOVE eVGA. :)

Tweaktown (http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/843/xfx_heated_up_overclocking_the_512mb_7800gtx/index.html) did some overclocking on the XFX non-o/c'ed version.....
Utilizing Coolbits we were able to achieve an overclock from 550MHz on the core to 608MHz and we moved the memory from 850MHz (or 1.7GHz DDR) to 895MHz (or 1.79GHz DDR). This is slightly above the speeds than the more expensive XXX Edition from XFX.
Nice!
Does your e-pen0s feel smaller now?
I keed, I keed :D
I am currently running 601/1.8 on stock air. It would be neat to see what you could clock this up to on water.
I may try to hit these speeds then reflash it to this BIOS if they are stable :D
In related news, DangerDen's refining their fantastically expensive and shockingly ineffecient NV-78 to fit the GTX 512, so the little jAkUp's in all of us might want to keep an eye on those. They're no Stew Forster block, but they're better than the Innovatek eVGA's going to be shipping out.
But hey, launching additional products to previously launched product lines you can't actually buy is always good policy in my book.

Yeah, this is getting beyond ridiculous for graphics cards now.

at those prices, I would rather get a pair of xfx xxx edition or bfg overclocked versions of the card. The speeds are so close.

Some Black Pearl benchmarks (http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=3977&page=3)
Bottom line is that there is no way this is worth the money.
You have to be just stupid with your money to buy this.
Of course, had I just won a 300million dollar lottery, I might just think about it. :)
The main problem is going to be having a CPU that can actually drive this thing. Sure, you can play in ultra high resolutions, but if you dont have a monitor capable of that, you are going to have a card that is idling alot I should think.

My Leadtek is running 600/1800 everyday...with a maze 4...why buy one of these when you can have a better block (flowkiller!) and cheaper card... :)
with a retail price of $1076?
INSANE!
it comes with water additive, pump, toobing, radiator, fan, and of course the card
