I mean, in an issue such as this, the money is mostly a secondary concern when attached to the legal ramifications against the RIAA and the music labels. This is a central issue in their arguements that they've lost millions in profits because of "digital piracy" and whatnot.
This is something that would be capable of chipping away the foundations of their supposed legal claims.
