How to install new fonts?

I downloaded a new font and the file is a TTF file. How do i make it work, so i can use it? The readme that came with it didnt tell me how. What do i have to do so i can use it with WORD and stuff like that?

NEVER MIND!!!! My stupid butt got it. I just had to put the TTF file in the FONTS folder under windows. hahaha. iv got it now. PLEASE DELETE THIS THREAD!!!!
