Oh for...would EA please stop milking every single game they make? If they're going to make expansions, they could at least just make 1 or 2 big ones that are worth the $30 instead of a crapload of little ones that are released every 4 months. Seems BF2 is the next Sims...maybe I should just wait until they release the "Battlefield 2 mega ultimate deluxe edition".

This seems very unofficial to say at least but if it's true, I just lost much respect to Dice for letting EA go this far :(

Do you need another CD key for the first expansion? Or does it just install over the original and use its CD key?

The first expansion has its own CD Key as well.

This is quite sad really, but having said that during these "quiet times" we PC gamers need all the games we can get.

Ya and they both sucked. Then came Vietnam which was ok but nothing to keep playing beyond a month.

As long as people buy them the story will remain the same. If an EA game sells, you can expect an expansion, it's as simple as that. Take Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault for example. The game didn't sell, and no expansions saw the light of day. However, Allied Assault sold very well, and two expansions followed. Don't even get me started on The Sims.
