I've found this song to be rather disturbingly accurate lately, especially considering the current middle east conflict buildup...

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

Good song. Of course I have no idea what has been going on as of late so the relevance of it escapes me, but I'm sure it fits. ;)

Bowling for Columbine was a very entertaining movie, but made me almost want to gag with all of its liberal ideas being forced down my throat. I'd reccomend it, but some would be very annoyed or offended.

That song is really good, one of the best anti-Vietnam songs I know of. The name of the band escapes me though...

Was it David Crosby? Or Crosby, Stills and Nash? One of those, I'm pretty sure.

I've had no desire to see "Bowling for Columbine". Michael Moore is pretty much the apotheosis of an idiotarian. He can't open his mouth without saying something stupid (like in England recently, where he said all the people on the 9/11 flights were cowards because they were white). He's a pompous bonehead of a fool, and I'd hate to give him any of my money. In my opinion, of course!

Cheers,
JND

Why limit yourself to politicians and organizations? Everybody's pretty darn rotten as far as I'm concerned (myself included)! :p There are, of course, varying levels of rottenness, say from Kim Jong Il on the one hand to Billy Graham on the other (although I'd wager that Billy Graham sees himself as more rotten than Kim Jong Il does)...

Cheers,
