7800 GTX with PRO/ENGINEER WILDFIRE 2

can someone explain me if it is really important to use pro/engineer on a FX card and if yes WHY ??


cause i have a 7800 GTX and i wish to use it with pro/e
it seems to work

what is the difference between a quadro and the 7800 gtx ?

there is no diffrence between the quatro and fx series other then driver optimizations.

There are some divided opinions on that..
Some maintain that Quadros have certain hardware features over the Geforces..
But softmodding a Geforce and installing Quadro drivers gets you damn close even if that is true.. if not, then all the way hehe..
a wild guess is that wireframe acceleration would be better on Quadro drivers for example, something you dont se in games..
