Which Forceware set are you running?

OK, are you running 3DMark05 with AA or AF enabled? What resolution are you using? Are you using AA and AF in F.E.A.R.?

11-30-05, 08:54 AM
i'm running the basic setup for 3dmark2005 (1024x768 no aa no af)

for F.e.a.r i'm running with 4xAA 16XAF 1024x768 as well everything maxed out.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong (which happens frequently), but I'm pretty sure you need to set AA and AF to "Application Controlled" in the nVidia control panel, otherwise the 3dmark settings will be overridden.

i have it set on application control... what are you getting scunner?

Yes something is not right. Your 3DMark05 score is too low. You should be getting around 12K or so...

A shade over 12k, everything stock. I would have expected you to get in the high-13 to low-14k range with your hardware.

Edit: I'll rerun the bench tonight to verify my score. Looking at other people's scores with similar stock rigs, I'm doubting 12k.

When using the latest drivers the 4800+ gets a huge boost in 3DMark05 because of the multithreading support.

Forgot about that. Now I'm doubting that I doubted myself.
